Her birth date was 1st march 1980 in Moscow with a family that included the director and economist Tatyana Dmitrievna. As a child she was admitted to the hospital for six months before being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. The skater's career together with Denis Samokhin was what made the legend. The pair competed together at two different Junior World Championships placing 8th in 1993, and 7th in 1994. The pair briefly collaborated with Maxim Kachanov. Later, as a team, they placed 5th at the Goodwill Games. Their partnership was also successful, as the pair won the Finlandia Trophy on two occasions and competed at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Together, they accomplished greater achievements. The highlight however was their 15th place finish that they earned in the World Championships of 1998.
